Bedtime Stories for Kids | What you want to be?

Bedtime Stories for Kids
Eight-year-old girl Mini flipped pages of a storybook. Her mother gifted it to her a week ago. She liked seeing pictures in it. Her mother wanted her to develop a reading habit at an early age. She decided Mini should read at least 15 minutes before she went to sleep.

After a week of tossing pages, Mini made her mind and decided to read the whole storybook. She started reading it. She enjoyed it. After a month, when the storybook was about to finish, she informed her mother that she needed a new one. Her mother was pleased that the Mini was developing an interest in reading. Mini’s mother took her to a bookshop. Excited, Mini browsed several storybooks. But she picked one coloring book instead of a storybook. Her mother didn't like it, and she selected a storybook for Mini.

After a month, when her mother took her back to a bookshop, instead of selecting a storybook, she again picked a coloring book.

Mini did coloring during her free time.

Every time her mother took her to a bookshop, she selected a coloring book instead of a storybook.

Her mother realized that coloring is the activity Mini enjoyed the most. Her mother was happy that a small incident made her recognize and understand her daughter’s interest.

Moral of the Story: During leisure time, children reveal what they want to be.

Happy Reading!
